About Us

The Raine Study is one of the largest successful prospective cohort studies of pregnancy, childhood and now adolescence in the world. The Raine Study is an ongoing collaboration between The University of Western Australia (Schools of Women’s & Infants’ Health and Medicine & Pharmacology), the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research (TICHR) and the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research.

The Raine study follows the growth and development of over 2800 children. Information on aspects of their health and development have been collected over the past 18 years, to form an valuable and unique research resource.
